This project catalogues distribution of organisms, number of sightings, and conservations status for each category of organism across 4 national parks - Yosemite, Yellowstone, Great Smoky Mountains, and Bryce.
The histogram and bar chart below show the distribution of organisms in each national park. The first shows sightings overall, and the second categorizes sightings by organism type.

It should come as no surprise that vascular plants were more commonly sighted than any category of animal.

The next chart demonstrates the conservation status for different categories of organisms. In total, mammals and birds tend to be endangered or a species of concern, where reptiles and amphibians showed the least concern.

The final chart shows the number of sightings for each organism type in each park. There tended to be equal sightings across all categories of organism.
